TERMS & DATA USE

Know the boundaries.
Build with confidence.

The scope of the material, the fictional examples, and the responsibilities of a real integration.

Educational scope

RacingAPI.com provides editorial guides and fictional examples for understanding racing data and frontend behavior. It is not a live timing service, official results authority, marine navigation system, wagering platform, participant registration service, or game telemetry collector.

Using the examples

The site’s original sample JSON and JavaScript examples may be used and adapted for learning and prototyping. Keep fictional data clearly identified and do not represent it as an actual event result. The examples do not convey rights to an external provider’s data, documentation, trademarks, or other materials.

External data arrangements

Before connecting a production source, verify its access method, permitted uses, coverage, redisplay terms, and technical contract directly. A public reference page or a link in our directory is not an authorization to scrape, mirror, or redistribute data.

No implied affiliation

References to racing series, governing bodies, publishers, and providers are for identification and context. RacingAPI.com does not claim their sponsorship, approval, or endorsement. Brand and organization names remain associated with their respective owners.

Verify before relying

Inspect the actual source and event context before making a production decision. A proposed schema does not establish sporting correctness, and a timestamp does not by itself establish that a result is current. The site does not promise live coverage, uninterrupted service, production latency, compatibility with a specific game, or a particular project outcome.

Responsible implementation

Keep private credentials out of public frontend files, limit public participant fields to an appropriate scope, and label estimates and uncertain values. Do not use fictional spectator data for safety-critical navigation, emergency response, or official race administration.
