How RacingAPI.com approaches factual claims, source context, sample data, and corrections.
What our content is for
RacingAPI.com publishes educational data-model and interface guidance. An article may propose names, transformations, or checks for your own application. Such proposals are not a declaration that every provider implements the same interface or sporting convention.
Evidence and source boundaries
Each Field Note includes one directly relevant editorial reference to primary documentation or an authoritative source. The source supports the specific context discussed; it should not be read as endorsing every design suggestion in the article. The resource directory provides additional entry points for investigation.
Descriptions of provider interfaces are checked against public documentation when the content is reviewed. Coverage, access, pricing, and terms can change. Verify the current source contract before building a live integration.
Examples that identify themselves
Bundled events, names, and results are fictional. The JSON contract requires sample: true, and the explorer labels its previews. Interface design suggestions are kept separate from official sporting decisions. A calculated estimate should not be presented as an observed measurement.
Bylines and dates
The RacingAPI.com Editorial byline identifies the site’s editorial voice, not an individually accredited official or timing expert. Field Notes show a publication date and a separate review date. A revision date means content was reviewed or changed, not that a fixture became a live observation.
Corrections
Send the page address, the disputed passage, and a relevant primary reference to [email protected]. Avoid attaching private participant records or provider credentials. Questions about a provider’s live service should be directed to that provider.
Independence
Named series, governing bodies, publishers, and data providers are referenced for identification or research context. No affiliation, endorsement, credential, review score, or partnership is claimed. The site does not publish betting predictions or operate wagering features.
